Ossining Man Charged in Connection with Peekskill Incident

Police say an Ossining man took a woman's car without her permission.

On Sept. 7 at 1:46 a.m. Robert Terry, 39, of Ossining was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, on Spring Street in Ossining. On Sept. 1, Terry and a female acquaintance became involved in an altercation while in the female’s vehicle in the City of Peekskill. During the altercation, the female left the vehicle and Terry drove off without the victim’s consent. Terry was located on Spring St. in the Village of Ossining several days later and taken into custody without incident. He was released on $500 bail and is due to appear in Peekskill City Court on September 26, 2011 at 11:00AM.
