Ossining Woman Arrested in Yorktown for Theft

An Ossining woman is set to appear in court, after being charged with shoplifting from Yorktown's Sears store.

Olga Q. Panza, 32, of Ossining, is accused of stealing a women's sweater from Sears in Yorktown. Police said they were dispatched to the scene after a Sears security personnel reported a shoplifter in custody. The woman allegedly exited the store without paying for the $36 sweater. Panza was released on $200 and scheduled to appear in Yorktown court on Feb. 7.

Editor's note: Panza's gender was incorrect in headlines in the original version of this report. Patch regrets the error.
