Ossining Drug Busts
The Village of Ossining Police Department made three drug-related arrests.
made three marijuana arrests in the village. The first incident happened near Ann St. and the Old Croton Aqueduct on August 24 at 8 p.m. Ossining Police officers, Det. Jose Ferrao and Sgt. Raymond Debenedictis, say they saw two men exchanging cash for marijuana in a plastic bag. The two officers arrested 21-year-old Justin Young, who lives on James St. and 18-year-old Donny Singh, who lives on Cooper Drive. Police say both men were issued appearance tickets and released.
One day later, on August 25, Officers Anthony Oliveira and Joseph Bracero say they saw a man holding a bag of marijuana. The man had the marijuana in his left hand, while he was sitting at an outdoor table near 9 Broad Ave. at around 6:30 p.m. The two officers say they approached the man, who then tried to hide the bag under the table. Officers Bracero and Oliveira then arrested 25-year-old James St. resident Justin Sutton. Sutton is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Police say he was issued an appearance ticket and released.
