Ossining Cops: CVS Trespass, Yard Fight

A summary of recent police activity and arrests in the village of Ossining.

CVS Trespass

Two men warned previously not to enter the CVS store on South Highland Avenue, came again and got slapped with a trespassing charge, Ossining police said.

The men -- one aged 22 from Yonkers, the other an Ossining 19-year-old -- had been previously banned by management from the store, Lt. William Sullivan said.

This time, they allegedly tried to return items they didn't purchase there and were charged at 12:25 a.m. on Oct. 2 with criminal trespass in the third degree.

The Ossining man was also found by police to be wanted by Ramapo police in Rockland County for failure to appear on unknown charges there.

Fighting in Yard

Two men, one aged 33 of Carmel and one aged 31 of Ossining, were charged on Oct. 1 at 12:35 a.m. on Glenn Street when a resident said there were fighting in a yard.

Both men were charged with disorderly conduct, booked and released with a court date.

Unlicensed Revolutionary

A Revolutionary Road resident was charged Sunday, Sept. 29 around 9 a.m. for driving without a license and various other traffic infractions, police said.

Ossining police pulled him over for running a stop sign and found him to be driving with a suspended license. The man, 26, was charged with suspended license and other violations and issued a court date.

Note: An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
