Ossining Arrests: 12-Year-Old Rock Thrower, DWI Driver

12-Year-Old Breaks Taxi Window with Rock

A 12-year-old Ossining boy was taken into police headquarters after a rock he tossed broke the window of a passing cab. 

Ossining Lt. William Sullivan said the boy was with a group of kids when he threw the rock at the corner of Spring and Main downtown. It broke the back window of a cab with no backseat passengers, Sullivan said. 

The driver stopped and held the boy until police arrived. Police booked him as a juvenile and held him until his parents came to pick him up. 

DWI Arrest

Village Police pulled over a 22-year-old Ossining driver the night of Friday, July 26 when they saw him driving recklessly on Croton Avenue.

He was issued a blood alcohol test to which he tested positive at .17 BAC.

He was charged with:
  • Driving while intoxicated
  • and driving without a license. 

Criminal Contempt

A 38-year-old Ossining man was taken into custody after allegedly violating an order of protection against him. He was arrested Thursday night, August 1 at 10 p.m. and charged with criminal contempt and held pending arraignment.
