Ossining's Bravest Respond to Mt. Kisco Fire

Ossining and other fire departments worked together to quickly bring a blaze under control.

Ossining's Bravest responded to a fire in a two-family Victorian home at 32 St. Mark's Place in Mount Kisco that displaced 10 people Sunday morning.

The fire was reported at approximately 11 a.m. and was declared under control about 45 minutes later. Ossining was among the departments that responded to assist Mount Kisco firefighters. They were also assisted by companies from Bedford Hills, Chappaqua, Millwood and Yorktown.

"We have 10 people displaced from two families who are being tended to by the Red Cross," said Mount Kisco Fire Chief Tom Jackson. "There were no injuries and the County Cause and Origin Team are investigating the cause."
