Metro-North Employee Struck By Train in Croton

Unidentified Metro-North worker airlifted to hospital after being hit Tuesday night.

An unidentified male Metro-North Railroad employee was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center after being struck by a train at the Croton-Harmon train yard Tuesday night.

 “The incident did not affect train service,” an MTA spokesman said.  “The incident occurred at the rail yard.”

The accident occurred around 6 p.m.  MTA officials have not released the identity or condition of the male Metro-North worker.
