Manuel J. Aris-Mejia, 30, is due in Ossining Court Feb. 12 to answer charges of driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Police were called to the scene of an accident on Ann Street at 3 a.m. Feb. 11. A car had hit another vehicle and a telephone pole.
The driver saw them and ran away, police said. They chased him into his residence on Sarah Street and arrested him in the hall.
He was given a breath test and registered a blood alcohol level of .16, which is twice the legal limit, police said. He has a suspended driver's license.
