Man Steals Ossining Child's Ipod

Ossining's Finest are searching for a suspect who stole an Ipod from a child.

The Ossining Police Department has released the following information regarding a child who was robbed in the village.

On February 4th at around 5:30 in the afternoon Ossining Police were called to 95 Spring Street where a juvenile reported that he was playing with his I-pod when he was approached by a black male who asked him for the time and date. After the youth gave the man the time and date the man asked if he could hold the I-pod. The youth refused and attempted to go indoors, but before he could gain entry the suspect grabbed his I-pod and fled down Spring Street. The man was described as being around 5’ 6”, thin build, wearing a black hooded Adidas sweatshirt and dark colored jeans. He was last seen heading north on Spring Street toward Main Street.
