Man Brutally Robbed by Men in Gas Masks by Ossining Train Station

One of the masked suspects is still on the loose.

Two men, wearing gas masks, beat up and then robbed a man on Ossining's Secor Road, right next to the train station. The victim says one of the men put him in a choke hold while the other one punched him. The victim says he bit the man holding him, and even managed to hold on to his cell phone. The men ended up taking the victim's jacket and running towards the Ossining Train Station.

The victim called 911 and police began searching the area for the men around 11:10 p.m. Police found one of the men, who had the victim's jacket and still had a gas mask on him.

Police say the suspect who they caught is 19-year-old Snowden Avenue resident Jesus Acosta. Acosta is charged with felony attempted robbery and possession of stolen property in connection with the October 7 incident. He was arraigned in Ossining Town Court and taken to the County Jail.
