Man Bashed with Pool Cue During Christmas Game

An altercation in Ossining turned violent Dec. 25.

A man came into Ossining village police headquarters at 6:43 p.m. Christmas Day to report that he had been attacked during a party at a friend's house on Hunter Street.

The man told police he was involved in a game and got into an argument with another player, at which point a third man swung the thick end of a pool cue and hit him on the head.

The attacker then followed up by throwing a billiard ball, hitting the victim right on the same place.

Police said the man did not wish to press charges at that time. Officers called the Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the victim was taken to the hospital.
