Icy Roads Cause Ossining Accidents

Ossining's Finest responded to a number of accidents that were caused by icy conditions.

The following report was compiled by the Ossining Police Dept:

The Ossining Police covered numerous minor motor vehicle accidents between 5:41 am and 7:00 am, on January 17, including a roll-over on Ogden Road near Old Albany Post Road. Icing conditions played a large factor in the accidents. Ossining Police remind motorists to use caution when driving in the winter, leave extra time to reach your destination.

Michael Martin, age 22, of Iroquois Road Ossining, was charged with Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree. Mr. Martin was accused of kicking a door window at 7-11 on North Highland Avenue on Saturday January 14th, after an argument with a store clerk. The incident took place around 3:30 in the morning.

Brian Joseph Kane, age 52, was charged with the theft of power tools from 20 Croton Street on January 12, 2012 in the afternoon hours. He was charged with Burglary in the Second Degree and awaits arraignment, at Westchester County Jail, in Town of Ossining Court.
