Evacuations Ordered in Croton-on-Hudson
A gas leak on Croton's Morningside Drive caused a number of area homes to be evacuated.
Ten homes on Croton-on-Hudson's Morningside Drive were evacuated this morning after a contractor hit a gas line. The rupture created a leak from a high-pressure line buried under the street. The Croton Fire Department and ConEd are on scene right now working to repair the broken gas line. Patch will have updates throughout the day on this developing situation.
