Door-to-Door Salesmen; Hot Tub; Marijuana: Croton Police Blotter

Here are some of the incidents handled by the Croton village police in the past week.

Feb. 27: 4:29-8:09 p.m.—Several callers complained about door-to-door salesmen around Michael's Lane and Terrace Place. Police found the solicitors and advised them of village law, which forbids door-to-door sales without a permit.

Feb. 28: 10:06 p.m.—A Finney Farm Road resident was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a controlled substance after he was stopped by police on patrol who smelled pot when checking the 28-year-old's driver's license. He was released on $100 bail.

March 1: 3:33 p.m.—A Nordica Drive resident told police someone had used their hot tub while they were not at home.
