Croton-on-Hudson police responded to an unusual incident on August 7: someone had apparently unearthed and stolen four to five large flowering plants out of a yard in the 70s block of Cleveland Drive.
These were no small plants, either.
Police described them as orange flowering plants about five feet in height that must have been uprooted overnight.
