Croton Police Charge Man with Driving Drunk with Kid in Car

A 46-year-old from Woodside, Queens was charged with felony DWI after police saw the man driving erratically on Albany Post Road and Warren.

Manuel Tenecela was charged with felony-level Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated DWI.

Det. Paul Camillieri said the felony charge stems from the fact that the man had a child under the age of 15 with him in the car when he was found to be intoxicated.

Tenecela was arraigned in Village of Croton court. Bail set at $5,000, which he could not post so he was taken to Westchester County Jail in Valhalla.

Note: An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
