Croton & Ossining: A Look at the Day Ahead

An Ossining underage drinking party, Ossining property taxes and 3rd Universe Comic Emporium are all making news this morning.

Those charged in connection with a big, underage drinking party in Ossining will be in court today. A 17 and a 19-year-old are charged in connection with the underage party. The two teens face resisting arrest and drug charges. Police also issued summonses for underage alcohol possession to six other youths. You can read the full story .

If you're a resident, today is the deadline for the second installment of your property taxes. In case you have to make a payment in person, the payments go to the Village's Finance Department, which is located on the 2nd floor of the Croton Avenue municipal building. The office opens up at 9 a.m. and closes at 4:30 p.m. A last-minute payment can also be made today on the village's website. If you're mailing a check, it will have to be postmarked today.
