Members of the Croton Fire Department broke away from their festivities three times on Christmas day, luckily for calls that all proved pretty minor.
They responded to an accident, a call for someone trapped in the Croton-Harmon station elevator (gone upon arrival), and cooking smoke.
"On behalf of the Chiefs of the CFD, we'd like to thank the dozens of Croton FD volunteers that put their holidays 'on hold; to answer these calls."
