Croton Cops Arrest Two Women on Drug Charges

Village of Croton-on-Hudson Police came upon a disabled vehicle on Route 9 South on Jan. 6 at 8:14 p.m. and arrested both the driver and her passenger on drug charges. 

Police charged the female driver, 26, of Wappingers Falls, with driving under the influence of drugs. She was released with a court date on $150 bail. 

They charged the passenger, another woman, 31, of Ossining, on two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh. 

Croton Det. Paul Camillieri said the passenger was found to have alleged oyxcontin pills and heroin in her possession, while the driver was found to be "impaired."

The passenger was released on $350 cash bail.
