Ossining village police were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident involving a car and a motorcycle at Spring Street and Agate Avenue at about 3 a.m. Dec. 16.
Officers found the driver of a 2002 Kawasaki motorcycle leaning against a utility pole and complaining of back pain, and a damaged 2005 Honda Civic nearby.
The driver of the Civic told the officers he struck the motorcycle from behind. The operator of the Kawasaki was thrown from the bike and sustained a back injury for which he was treated at Phelps Memorial Hospital.
Ryan Keiling, 24, of Croton-on-Hudson was arrested for driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
