Broken Headlight Leads to Drug Bust: Ossining Police

The driver was also wanted on a warrant out of Peekskill City Court.

Ossining village police on patrol stopped a car with one headlight out and recognized the driver as an Ossining woman who was wanted for failure to appear in Peekskill City Court.

During the arrest  at 9:05 p.m. Jan. 29, police found marjuana in the car along with hydrocodone and oxycontin pills. 

Kyisha Mackey, 33, and William Shelton, 32, were charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. She was also charged with failure to appear.

Mackey was transferred to Peekskill police after she was booked in Ossining.
