A blood drive Feb. 20 is jointly sponsored by the village's Police Benevolent Association and Civil Service Employees Association.
It's being organized by police Dispatcher Megan Sausedo and Sgt. Kevin Sylvester through Phelps Memorial Hospital Center.
"The nice thing about doing it through Phelps is that the blood stays local," Sylvester said.
The drive will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Birdsall-Fagan Courtroom, 86 Spring Street.
