70-year-old Annette Williams is set to appear in court to answer charges of grand larceny and third-degree robbery, both felonies, after an incident at Macy's.
Police said they received a call at 8 p.m. Aug. 10 from security officers at the Jefferson Valley Mall reporting a female shoplifter had fled the store with jewelry and clothing. She is alleged to have made threats to security officers that she had a gun.
Yorktown Police Officers Michael Madaus and Jason Swart responded to the scene and stopped her in the parking lot.
The jewelry, wallets and clothing were valued at a total of $1,774.78.
The Peekskill woman was arraigned by Judge Lagonia and sent to Westchester County Jail without bail. She's due back in court on August 14.
