What were they thinking?!

Looking at the renderings of the "Revitalized" Ossining waterfront, it strikes me how out of touch this architecture is with the general surroundings and the historical nature of Ossining in general.  This looks like Miami, not Ossining and lacks local character in any regard.  The architectural design of the Boat club is equally as bad.  It is plain to see what the waterfront will become.  The writing is clearly on the proverbial wall.  In my opinion, this will be an exclusive waterfront designed only for those that can afford it.  Including words such as "working class, affordable, and public access" in relation to this "revised" waterfront is just doublespeak.  It is unfortunate, Ossining has always had a vibrant waterfront, with many characters from all walks of life that had a connection to the river.  It is obvious to me that residents already enjoy the waterfront as it is.    Building the new proposed waterfront rentals units, restaurant and Boat club, will wipe out that character forever.  It is clear to me, by looking at the proposed waterfront renderings exactly who will will be benefiting from this "revitalized" waterfront and it wont be the average citizen of Ossining.
