I am supporting Northern Wilcher and Kim Jeffery in the Democratic Primary on September 10th. These two candidates have demonstrated that they care about the people in the Town of Ossining because actions speak louder than words. Knowledge of the fundamental structure of the Town is essential for our success. The Town of Ossining is hard at work on many issues at this time, including infrastructure improvement, storm damage mitigation, preserving our environment, enhancing the services in of our parks, working with other municipalities to avoid service duplication, and working with Westchester County on housing issues, to name a few. A complete understanding of the needs of our residents, as well knowledge of the systems in place we can utilize to help them, is crucial in a Town Board member.
Northern Wilcher has been on the Town Board since 2004, and the institutional knowledge he brings to the table has proven invaluable to making progress with the Town Board. While he might not always say much, his powerful words come from a deep understanding of the history of an issue. Northern understands the workings of the Town and all of the challenges and opportunities that lie before us.
Kim Jeffery has been involved in the community for several years in the role of advocate, parent, and supporter. Now that her children are in the Ossining School system, she can be counted on to be fully informed about topics that are important to our residents and be a strong voice for families in Ossining. Kim understands that every Board and Administration (Schools, Library, Villages and Town) must work cooperatively to accomplish the goals for all of the residents of the Town of Ossining.
Please join me on September 10th and vote for Northern Wilcher and Kim Jeffery in the Democratic primary.
