Free Friday Night Lecture at the Ossining Boat and Canoe Club

Please join us at the Ossining Boat and Canoe Club this Friday, April 25th at 7:30 p.m. for "The Significance of the Hudson River as a Transportation Corridor", an evening lecture and slide presentation by guest speaker Scott Craven.

The topic for this free lecture will be the Hudson River, its commercial traffic, Erie Canal, tugs, barges, oil, the great North River, and the making of a nation then and now. Come hear why the commercial traffic on the Hudson River is as relevant as today’s news. Scott Craven has an M.S. in History and has lived along the banks of the Hudson River his entire life. He is a boater, fly fisherman, and hiker.

We hope to see you there!
