Friends and family are remembering the life of Ossining's Richard DiTomasso, who recently passed away.

Friends and family are remembering the life of Ossining's Richard DiTomasso. The 48-year-old passed away Saturday after a courageous four-year battle with throat cancer.

Richard Gregory DiTomasso worked for Bayside Chrysler as a finance manager. He moved to Ossining back in 2005.

He was born in 1964 in the Bronx to the late Norma and Nicholas DiTomasso. He attended Mount Saint Michael Academy.

Richard is survived by his sons Nicholas and Lucas DiTomasso, daughter in law Nicole Fucci DiTomasso and one grandchild Alena DiTomasso, his sister and her husband Laura and James Gwin and brother Nicholas DiTomasso Jr.

He is further survived by his niece and her husband Stephanie and Michael Grant and great nephew Christopher Grant. In addition his former wife Valentina DiTomasso and a dearest friend Gina Capicotto.

Donations are being accepted at Hospice Care of Westchester and Putnam, as well as Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center. DiTomasso's family says they would like to thank all of the staff at Westchester Hospice and MSKCC for their help and support.

DiTomasso's funeral mass was held yesterday at Saint Augustine Roman Catholic Church. The place of internment is Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale.
