Paul Dolcimascolo: Former Ossining Resident

Paul Dolcimascolo of Myrtle Beach, formerly of Ossining, died March 14, 2014, he was 78.

He was born March 24, 1935 in Ossining to Cosmo & Angelina (Ripostella) Dolcimascolo.

Paul served in the US Army 1953-1955. He was stationed in Panama. He later served as a Tomb Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery.

He worked as a butcher for the A&P and was shop steward for the Union. He was pre-deceased by his grandson Bryan.

Paul is survived by his wife Evelyn, son Paul Jr.and daughter-in-law Maria, daughters Joni Hedglin (Tom), Donna Marie Eickler (Scott), grandchildren Paul Thomas, Christopher, Scott Francis, Nicole, 3 great-grandchildren, brother Anthony, sister Josephine Warner Connor and many nieces & nephews.

He will be reposing Thursday 5-8pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining. Mass of Christian burial Friday 10am at St. Ann’s Church, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
