Jeffrey Barnes, Ossining Native

Jeffrey David Barnes, 53, a resident of Ossining, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012.  

Jeffrey was born in Ossining on July 4, 1955 and was the son of Asa & Iva (Fowler) Barnes, Sr. He was 57.  

Jeffrey was a lifelong member of St. Paul's on the Hill Episcopal Church. He was a graduate of Ossining High School class of 1973.  Jeffrey was a member of the Carpenter's Local Union #149, formerly in Tarrytown.

Jeffrey is survived by his Father Asa, Sr; stepmother Marilyn; siblings Maribeth (John) Osgood, Margery, Asa, Jr. (Danielle); his nieces and nephew Jennifer, Lauren, Allison, Amanda, Asa III and Adriel; 4 great nieces and nephew, Kaitlyn, Colette, Bristol and Andrew.  He was predeceased by his Mother Iva in 1999, and his brother Gary in 1953.

A Memorial Funeral Mass was held Dec. 22, 2012  at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's on the Hill Episcopal Church, 40 Ganung Dr., Ossining, 10562.  The interment followed at Joseph's Garden at St. Paul's on the Hill Episcopal Church.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Dorsey Funeral Home, Inc. in Ossining. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Paul's on the Hill, 40 Ganung Dr., Ossining, NY  10562, would be appreciated.
