Funeral Arrangements Set for Briarcliff's John Mangialardi

John Mangialardi, Esq., a resident of Briarcliff Manor, tragically passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013. John was born in Manhattan on May 3, 1958 and is the son of Dominic and Nancy Mangialardi. He was 55 years old.

John was a graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School, Fordham University and St. John’s School of Law. He was a former Assistant D.A. in the Bronx and was a partner in the law firm of Mangialardi & Berardino in Hartsdale. He was a Lt. Colonel in the 5th Legal Support Detachment, 56th Brigade, N.Y. Guard and had been a JAG Officer for more than 14 years. He was an active parishioner of St. Augustine Church.

John is survived by his loving wife, Arlene (Paregian); beloved daughters Katie and Linlee; his parents Dominic and Nancy; his 2 sisters, Nancy Mangialardi and Emily Anne (John) Ferro; his in-laws Philip and Rose Paregian; his sister-in-law Alice Guida; his nieces and nephews, Christine and Michael Guida, and Laura and John Dominic Ferro. 

Visiting hours will be held Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, from 1-4 and 7-9pm at Dorsey Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10am at St. Augustine Church, 381 North Highland Ave., Ossining, NY. The internment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, money can be donated to a college scholarship fund for John’s daughters, Katie and Linlee.
