Samantha Ann McCuen died suddenly on July 5 at her home in New York City. She was born on July 19, 1968 in Bronxville. She was the devoted daughter of Lorraine and Peter McCuen of Ossining, Sister of Tracey Kocz, Sister-in-Law of Michael Kocz and Aunt of Lauren and Brandon Kocz, of Cortlandt Manor.
Sam graduated from Edgemont High School in Greenburgh and Lehigh University followed by a successful career on Wall Street with Morgan Stanley and later with Sandler Capital. She left the financial world to pursue her passion for cooking, by launching a private chef business. In her earlier years she was a talented flutist and gifted artist. She was an enthusiastic NY Yankees fan.
A memorial service is being held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11 AM at the Greenville Community Church, 270 Ardsley Road, Scarsdale, NY 10583, (914) 723-1266. Memorial Contributions may be made to, Greenville Community Church. Arrangements were handled by
