Andrew Nembach Grass Jr.

Mr. Grass was the Acting Judge for the Village of Ossining from 1971 to 2007.

Family and friends are sending memorial donations to the American Cancer Society in honor of Andrew Nembach Grass Jr., a longtime resident of Ossining. Mr. Grass died Nov. 20, 2012.

He was born Dec. 20, 1929 in Manhattan, the son of Andrew Nembach and Cecelia (Kipp) Banks Grass Sr. He was 82.

Mr. Grass was a graduate of Rutgers University and New York University Law School. He was the former Chief Enforcement Attorney at the Securities Exchange Commission, New York office; a former partner at Windels, Marx and Ingram law firm; a former attorney for the Securities Traders Association of  New York and former Vice President of the Securities Traders Association.

From 1971 to 2007, Mr. Grass was the Acting Judge for the Village of Ossining.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Diana (Ruffalo), three devoted daughters Andrea Mooney, Karen and son-in-law David Kelsey and Lizbeth Grass; three grandchildren Ashley and grandson-in-law Tristan Cooper, Anders Kelsey and Alexandra Kelsey and his grandkitty Jake; his loving cousins Linda Milne and Mac Bailey.
