Annie Hall is the featured film for May and the last film to be shown as part of the 2011-2012 International Film Festival sponsored by the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers.
The 1977 U.S. Woody Allen film focuses on neurotic New York comedian Alvy Singer, who falls in love with the ditsy Annie Hall.
Annie Hall is the last offering in the current series Life through Death: The Redemptive Capacity of Humor. The film will include an introduction by a Maryknoll missioner and a brief discussion after the screening.
The film will be shown Friday, May 18, 7:30 p.m. at the Maryknoll Mission Center, 55 Ryder Road in Ossining. Admission is free and all residents are welcome.
