Did you know that over 150 bald eagles spend the winter along Hudson Valley waterways? And what better way is there to celebrate this winter visit than at Teatown’s Hudson River EagleFest℠ 2013!

With Title Sponsor First Niagara Bank Foundation and the returning support of Club Fit and Friends of Westchester County Parks, this celebration will take place Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 9:00am-4:00pm and be headquartered at Westchester County’s Croton Point Park.  Multiple eagle viewing locations will line the Hudson River, all staffed with birding experts, to help the public view our national symbol in the wild. Detailed keepsake maps will be available to guide visitors to each unique viewing destination.

New this year, Teatown’s Hudson River EagleFest℠ will feature a theme of “Flying into the Future: What You Can Do.” More than just a single event, Teatown’s Hudson River EagleFest℠ is a way for the public to discover the small things they can do each day to have a big impact on wildlife. All programs, tables and activities will center around this theme.
