Music lovers mark your calendars: the sizzling local band Strange Pools will be putting the fun back in funk on March 2 from 8-11 p.m. at the Steamer Firehouse, 117 Main Street, Ossining.   Tickets are $10 per person and the event will benefit the Ossining Arts Council (OAC).

A nine-person group, Strange Pools is a freestyle/improv band who bill themselves as “consummate adventurers using nothing more than 12 notes, ancient rhythms, and a high-speed current of electric magic.”

“This is going to be an exciting program and we’re looking forward to a terrific evening at the Firehouse,” said OAC President Mark Sarazen.  “Everyone should come out and have a great time while supporting the OAC.”

The Steamer Firehouse, OAC’s new home, is located directly across from the Ossining Post Office.  Plenty of parking is available. For additional information, please contact the OAC at 914-502-4157.
