This team of Ossining Police, Firefighters, Village Management are heroes in my mind.

I woke up this morning saying OK where was this hurricane. Now it is almost 7PM and I'm listening to my scanner and the backlash of this storm is causing a multitude of problems. Our rescue boat and fire department have just rushed to Croton to help in a water rescue. Downed power lines here are on fire in various locations. Ossining train station is under water. However, we have the best responders I believe in Westchester County. Most have been up for over 48 hours. Our Command center has been manned since the beginning of this incident and preparing before anything ever happened. Our Village Manager, DPW and the rest of the team have been on top of this storm with continuous updates. Our Mayor and Village Board have been notified every step of the way. This team of Police, Firefighters, and Village Management are heroes in my mind. If not for them this storm could have been much worse. It is now 7:30 on Sunday and all emergencies in Ossining and outer areas are all being covered still! God Bless all of you. What a great job you have all done to keep us safe.
