Phelps Farmers' Market to Open

The Sleepy Hollow Farmers' Market at Phelps will be located in the Rockwood Hall parking area just north of the hospital.

Phelps Memorial Hospital Center will launch a farmers market on June 21. Called the "Sleepy Hollow Farmers Market at Phelps," the new source for local produce, farm products and healthful prepared foods will serve residents of the community as well as hospital staff, visitors and patients.  The new market is being organized by Pascale Le Draoulec of Hastings, a food writer and author who runs farmers markets in Chappaqua, Hastings and Irvington.

Shoppers will find a wide range of farm fresh fruits and vegetables, farm products such as cheeses, eggs, and meats, as well as prepared foods such as baked goods, sandwiches and salads.

The Sleepy Hollow Farmers Market at Phelps will be located in the Rockwood Hall parking area just north of the hospital, at the end of Route 117. Free parking is available in the nearby Phelps parking garage.  The market will be open every Thursday between 11:30 am and 5:30 pm, now through November. More information may be obtained by calling 914-366-3937.
