Croton-on-Hudson Home Sold for $5.90 Million

The country estate was first owned by silent film star Holbrook Blinn in the 1920's.

A spacious 14-room home in Croton-on-Hudson was recently sold for $5.90 million by realtor Phyllis Weydig at North Country Sotheby's. 

The home, which is located at 1300 Journeys End Rd., was built in 1930. The 8-bedroom, 6-full and 2-partial bathrooms, 7,523-square foot home was first owned by silent film star Holbrook Blinn in the 1920's. Since 1938 it had been owned by same family before being sold. 

The country estate is located on 45 acres of gardens, meadows, ponds, streams, trails, and woodlands. The property features a boathouse, a six-bedroom guest house, barn, caretakers cottage, tennis Court and two docks all surrounded by protected watershed land.
