Chabad Hebrew School brings Purim Joy to Local Seniors

Throughout the year, the students have been participating in an "Adopt a Senior Program."

Smiles were seen on both children and seniors at a local Purim party hosted by the Chabad of Briarcliff Hebrew School. Throughout the year, the students have been participating in an “Adopt a Senior Program.”  This is the second holiday party held for the seniors, in addition to the private visits that are made by the students.

The party included student performances, making hamantashen, decorating masks, Purim bingo, and more.

“I am amazed by the bonds that have taken place between the seniors and the students. The seniors are able to share their experiences with the students and it’s a truly wonderful opportunity for the children.” Says Andrea Trungold, senior project coordinator.
