RiverKeeper Sweep Party

The Riverkeeper Sweep is a day of service for the Hudson River.
Every day we benefit from living near the Hudson River – we benefit from its beauty, its wildlife, its recreational uses, its inspiration. The Riverkeeper Sweep is one day to give back. On June 2, volunteers are organizing cleanups and other service projects throughout Hudson River region. Use our interactive map to find a local Sweep, and register now for a cleanup in your community!

Sponsors of the Riverkeeper Sweep include Keeper Springs, Ironshore, Whole Foods, Pleasant Valley Stone and American Rivers. Thank you! (For sponsorship information, please contact Keeva Young-Wright at kyoung-wright@riverkeeper.org or 914-478-4501 x229.)

The day of service on June 2 culminates with an evening of celebration on the Ossining waterfront. Volunteers are invited to join Riverkeeper members and the community for music, food, speeches by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and Paul Gallay, and river-based activities like seining, kayaking and sailing. The party is free, food will be for sale, and some activities will be for members only. Come early at 3 p.m. for river seining, and stay for the party from 4-7 p.m.
