FREE Sails with Ferry Sloops on Hudson River Days

The Fifth-Annual celebration of Hudson River Days will take place July 20 - 21, 2013 with more than 40 river and riverfront events spanning the length of the Hudson from New York City to Albany.

As part of the Hudson River Days, Ferry Sloops will be offering FREE sails from the guest dock at the Croton Yacht Club, on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21, 2013.

The sails aboard Whimbrel, our sloop-rigged Catboat, will depart at 10AM, 11AM, 12PM, 1PM and 2PM. Each sail will be approximately 45 minutes long. The free sails are on a "first come, first served" basis. No reservations will be accepted prior to the sail day. Guests can to sign up at the Ferry Sloops tent beginning at 9:30AM for any of the day's scheduled sail times. (limit of 4 passengers per sail)

The boat's captain reserves the right to cancel any or all of the day's sails, if weather conditions make it unsafe for sailing. There is no rain date.

Passenger age requirement: must be at least 12 years old, under 18 years old must be accompanied by parent or adult guardian. (strictly enforced)

Free parking is available on the street and in the Croton Landing parking lot. DO NOT park in the Croton Yacht Club. Map & Directions
