Ossining Arts Council Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair

OSSINING NY, December 2012 – For holiday shoppers in search of unique gifts, an array of one-of-a-kind, handmade items will be on sale at the Steamer Firehouse, 117 Main Street, in a Holiday Bazaar sponsored by the Ossining Arts Council.  The event will open on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and also run on the following Saturdays: December 8th & December 15th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m . In addition, a special meet-the-artists event will be held on the evening of Tuesday, December 4th @ 5 PM to coincide with the Village Tree Lighting ceremony.

Shoppers will find art, jewelry, photography, baked goods, fiber crafts, holiday cards, decorations and much more, all affordably priced, according to OAC President Mark Sarazen,  “It’s a great opportunity to purchase beautiful gifts that are made by local artists and craftspeople,” he added.  

Sarazen said the Holiday Bazaar is the first to be sponsored by OAC in several years. “Now that we have a space of our own at the Steamer Firehouse, we are thrilled to be able to hold events like this for the community.  We intend for this bazaar to be the start of an annual OAC tradition,” he said.
