Concert featuring the Hudson Bells
Come to the library and celebrate Mother’s Day with the
Hudson Bells as they “Sing Spring.” The Hudson Bells are a women’s choral
group, singing three and four part harmony both a capella and with piano
accompaniment. Their wide-ranging repertoire includes American songbook
standards, jazz classics, Broadway favorites and contemporary pop tunes. The
group draws singers from the lower Hudson River Valley towns. Their musical
director, Kinny Landrum, lives and works within sight of the Hudson River. He
is a composer, arranger, producer, keyboardist and music director who has
worked with Leonard Bernstein and Carly Simon, among others.
