236th Anniversary of George Washington's first visit to Peekskill Trolley Tour

Take a trolley ride with Historian Frank Goderre.  His stories will transport you back in time to when General Washington first rode into Peekskill.  Tour Revolutionary War sites in Peekskill & Cortlandt, and learn how important this area was in the General’s strategic plan to keep the British from taking the Hudson River and then all of New England.

Board the trolley in front of the The Birdsall House, 970 Main St., Peekskill NY.  Boarding begins at 3:45pm and the tour will leave promptly at 4:00 pm.  At the conclusion of the tour return to the Birdsall House for a brew (or soda) as the sun is setting behind Dunderberg Mountain, just as it was when General Washington rode in on this day in 1776.

Adults $25, Seniors $20, Children 15 and under $10
Reservations required.  Cal (914) 739-5408
