Wildflower Island In Bloom [PHOTOS]

Something's always in bloom at Teatown Lake Reservation.

Home to more than 200 species of both native and endangered wildflowers, Wildflower Island at is open for weekend guided tours through September on Saturdays at 10:30 and 1:30, and on Sundays at 1:30. The Island is open to everyone over age 12.

Different species are in bloom at different times of the year. There are also a variety of animals including birds, mamals, insects, reptiles and amphibians to see.
