UPDATE 10:53 a.m.: Traffic back to normal on southbound Tappan Zee lanes.
UPDATE 10:34 a.m.: Accident cleared, but traffic still very heavy in the southbound lanes across the Tappan Zee.
An accident is causing travel headaches for people crossing the Tappan Zee Bridge into Westchester. The left lane on the bridge is blocked causing traffic to back up. You can see the bumper-to-bumper traffic in the picture to your right, as motorists sit and wait on the approach to the bridge.
