The National Weather Service calls for 2-4 inches of snow Dec. 29 in and around Croton and Ossining, and another 1-2 inches are possible overnight.
Then the skies will clear up and it will become breezy, with winds up to 20 mph from the northwest. Temperatures will not get much above freezing.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 6 am Dec. 30.
