Winds gusting up to 40 mph seem to be the centerpiece of today's weather in Croton and Ossining, as a storm comes in from the midwest.
That storm could dump a foot of snow in northern New York, but in this neck of the woods the National Weather Service is predicting less than half an inch of snow, if any.
Rain mixed with snow will fall intermittently through Feb. 28. It's the temperatures that will make it feel like March—mid-40s fahrenheit in the daytime through Friday.
The wind should taper off tonight, the NWS says.
