Seasonal Tasting this Saturday at Ossining's Down to Earth Farmers Market!

Join us this Saturday, July 13th, at Ossining's Down to Earth Farmers Market, as Chef Maria of Bella Cucina Maria samples a delicious, seasonal salad of Escarole, Peach, and Goat Cheese. She will share tastes of this refreshing salad, as well as other ideas for cooking from the market, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Once inspired by her culinary creativity, the market is full of fresh foods for more meals ahead. The farmers will have tables of cherries, blueberries, snap peas, broccoli, greens, and much more from the summer harvest. The market also offers artisanal breads, baked goods, pickles, pasture-raised meats and poultry, eggs, locally-roasted nuts and coffees...and more. This week we welcome Bombay Emerald Chutney Company, featuring Indian chutneys, Ayurvedic spices, samosas, and other specialties. Hudson River Apiaries will also be on hand with their varieties of local honey.

The farmers market is open every Saturday, from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm, at the corner of Spring and Main Streets in downtown Ossining. See you at the market!
