This Saturday at Ossining's Down to Earth Farmers Market, meet the hometown heroes behind the non-profit organization, Riverkeeper. For nearly 50 years, this Ossining-based group has been working to preserve the Hudson River's water purity. They will be at the market's Community Table all day to meet shoppers and discuss their latest advocacy projects. In addition to these lively conversations, the farmers market will feature music this week! Please help us welcome Deuces Child, a musical duo who will serenade the market with beloved cover songs and original creative numbers.
The market now offers the height of summer produce, including corn, tomatoes, peaches, plums, peppers, and much more. Shop for the whole week with our vendors of breads, pickles, meats, poultry, fish, cheeses, nuts, coffees, and prepared foods to go. We also welcome Hudson River Apiaries with all their varieties of local honey this week.
The farmers market is open every Saturday, 8:30 am to 1:00 pm, at the corner of Spring and Main Streets in downtown Ossining. See you at the market!
